The Future of Painless Medical Care
CRYO-S Electric II
The most modern cryosurgery device manufactured by METRUM CRYOFLEX. This is a new generation of devices used in surgery since 1992.
Advantages of CRYO-S Electric II
Cryo-S Electric II offers numerous clinical and operational advantages. Its fast freezing and defrosting cycles enable shorter treatment times and smooth workflow, helping clinics treat more patients efficiently. The system ensures precise targeting, minimizing damage to surrounding tissues and improving patient comfort during and after procedures. Because there is no need for anesthesia in many cases, recovery is generally quicker, and post-treatment discomfort is significantly reduced.
The device’s compatibility with interchangeable probes makes it adaptable to various anatomical locations and procedure types. Its automatic safety controls maintain stable, predictable freezing depth and temperature, reducing clinical risks and ensuring consistent outcomes. With low maintenance requirements and cost-effective operation, Cryo-S Electric II supports long-term use with high clinical reliability. The combination of precision, flexibility, safety, and ease of use makes it an ideal choice for modern medical practices seeking advanced and dependable cryosurgical technology.
Application of CRYO-S Electric II
The Cryo-S Electric II is used across multiple medical specialties, making it a versatile platform for diverse clinical needs. In ENT, it is widely utilized for the treatment of epistaxis (nosebleeds), nasal polyps, rhinitis, turbinate hypertrophy, snoring, and chronic tonsillitis. The device is also effective for procedures involving the larynx and nasopharyngeal mucosa, where targeted freezing ensures tissue destruction while preserving surrounding healthy structures.
In neurology and pain management, it is used for procedures such as trigeminal neuralgia (TGN) and peripheral nerve cryotherapy, providing relief where other interventions are limited or less effective. Dermatology applications include benign skin lesions, warts, scars, keloids, hemangiomas, and cosmetic targets requiring localized tissue ablation. The device is also used in gynecology, urology, proctology, and general surgery, where minimally invasive cryotherapy delivers effective outcomes with reduced bleeding, minimal discomfort, and faster healing.
Cryo-S Electric II is engineered to deliver precise, controlled cryosurgery for a wide range of medical applications. Built with advanced microprocessor technology, the system ensures consistent temperature regulation, efficient gas flow, and optimized freezing performance with every procedure. Its intuitive interface, automated calibration, and easy operation make it suitable for both experienced surgeons and new users transitioning into cryotherapy-based treatment. The device is designed to enhance clinical workflow while reducing procedure time, ensuring high efficiency in both outpatient clinics and surgical environments.
With a proven record of clinical reliability, the Cryo-S Electric II provides exceptional durability and long-term performance. It supports both reusable and disposable cryoprobes, offering flexibility and cost-effectiveness based on clinical preference. In addition, its modern ergonomic design, safety features, and compatibility with various probe sizes allow clinicians to tailor treatment to specific anatomical structures, improving accuracy and patient outcomes. Choosing Cryo-S Electric II means investing in a future-ready, professionally trusted cryosurgical platform backed by global support and industry expertise.

Gynaecology:
Indications in Gynaecology:
- cervical ectopia
- polypoid mucosal hyperplasia,
- nieprawidłowe obrazy kolposkopowe z negatywnym wynikiem cytologii i histologii(poletkowanie, punkcikowanie, nietypowa strefa regeneracji, itp.),
- inflammation of the cervix of uterus with typical squamous epithelium,
- typical papillomas and genital warts of the vulva,
- cervical and vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia CIN (VIN) I ÷ II,
Benefits of cryosurgery in gynecology:
- Unlike other methods, the tissue necrosis zone does not increase on the second day after the procedure. It is exactly as planned and corresponds to the boundaries of the frozen area. In the case of coagulation methods (laser, LOOP, RF), the burnt tissue is more deeply separated than it was visible during the procedure.
- Cryosurgical treatment of cervical pathology is not associated with the risk of endometriosis! The frozen area remains covered with epithelium, which acts as a biological dressing.
- A wide selection of probes allows you to treat any part of the genital tract, e.g. the cervix, which is very difficult, if not impossible, to treat with photocoagulation or laser.
- Unlike photocoagulation, electrocoagulation and laser vaporization, cryotherapy treatments are smoke-free. Extremely high temperatures produce smoke containing biological material and an unpleasant odor. This leads to contamination of the treatment area. Smoke often contains the genome of viruses, such as HPV, which pose a risk of respiratory infection to people nearby. Cryotherapy treatments do not contaminate the room with vaporized tissue and smoke, so there is no risk of HPV infection.
Cryoprobes
The special shape of the cryoprobes enables complete freezing of the vagina, vault, cervix and uterine cavity, as well as the labia, anus and any part of the skin. The probe adheres to the tissue and lowers its temperature. The frozen tissue margin is formed in about 2 minutes. After freezing, the probe heats up in a few seconds. The working part of the probe is adapted to various shapes and sizes of lesions. It is covered with gold to increase its efficiency and durability. Parts of the probe that are not in contact with the tissue remain warm throughout the procedure, reducing the risk of freezing other tissues. Easy and convenient sterilization of the probe in steam.
Cryosurgery in ophthalmology
Indications for cryosurgery in ophthalmology:
- viral lesions on the cornea,
- dislocated lenses,
- eyelid skin problems,
- cryoepilation of ingrown eyelashes,
- retinopathies of prematurity,
- glaucoma (cryocycloapplication),
- retinoblastoma,
- retinal detachment (cryopexy).
Benefits of Cryosurgery/Cryotherapy in Ophthalmology
- Minimally invasive – Cryosurgery is a minimally invasive procedure, which means that it does not require large incisions or complicated surgical procedures. This reduces the risk of complications, as well as the recovery time.
- Precise action – thanks to the use of cryogenic probes, the doctor has control over the frozen area, which enables very precise action on specific eye tissues, minimizing damage to healthy structures.
- Reduced recovery time – After cryosurgery, patients usually return to normal activities in a short time. Healing is faster compared to traditional surgical operations.
- Bloodlessness of the procedure – cryosurgery does not cause bleeding, because the freezing process does not affect the continuity of the tissue and causes narrowing of the blood vessels of the lesion and surrounding tissues.
- Lower risk of infections – cryosurgery does not involve cutting tissues or open wounds, reducing the risk of infection after surgery compared to traditional surgery.
- Possibility of repeating the procedure – in the absence of a complete effect of the procedure or the need to treat a larger area, cryosurgery can be repeated, which gives the doctor more flexibility.
Cryosurgical probes
Special shapes of cryoprobes allow for precise and fast procedures regardless of the location of the lesion: eyelids, retina, cornea, etc. The probe adheres to the tissue and lowers its temperature in just a few seconds. The working part of the probe is covered with gold to increase its efficiency, durability and septicity. Parts of the probe that do not come into contact with the tissue remain warm throughout the procedure, which reduces the risk of freezing other tissues. Easy and convenient sterilization of the probe in an autoclave.
